The remains of the late Ayana has been flown to Ethiopia today, December 30, 2011.
Ayana, 23, died at Georgetown Hospital in Washington on December 27, 2011.
Ayana’s remain will be transported back to Gojam, Ethiopia where it will be buried. A memorial service was held for Ayana and friends of Ayana in Washington, DC on December 29, 2011 at Re’ese Adbarat Dbre Selam Kidest Mariam Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church.
